One good thing

I've just heard back from The Waste Management Services in the area-They have NOT picked up any cats in that area.

That leads me to believe that my Emmas is still alive and well.

This gives me some hope!

First Entry-All about Emily-Have you seen her?

Hi there-thank you for stopping here, and reading about my Emily.

Emily ran away from here caretakers on September 14, 2006 from the Knapton, Hereford area. They had a new dog in the house that was not friendly to the other animals in the household. That dog has since been re homed-and my Emily has not returned. This is one of my efforts to try and get Emily back-To get some information out, to try and get some back. I will post every picture I have of her. Someone has to have seen something.

Perhaps you have seen her, or know of someone who may have taken her in. Perhaps you work in an Animal Shelter, or for the RSPCA or Cat Rescue, or know someone who does. Can you please pass this on, or pass on their email addresses to me, so I can pass it on to them?

Emily was being cared for by friends while I was in the States. I still am, and am trying to do as much as I can from here. The folks where she was staying have been doing things to find her, too, like putting up a poster campaign in the local village, and calling a lot of places. I am trying to come up with the money to get back to the UK and do my own campaign to find her, too.

I have listed her on the UK National Missing Pets Register, with the RSPCA missing pets register, with Pawtrax, Petsearch UK, and with quite a number of Pet Rescue websites. I am always open for suggestions-more websites, or places to call or anything I can do to try and find out where my Emily is, or to get information on her.

It's my understanding that Emily ran off once before, (due to afore-mentioned hostile dog) and was taken in by someone in the Village near to where she was staying. Apparently she is not there now-and I'm not real sure about that. I'm sure you can understand how difficult this is for me, trying to look for my Emmas from 6,000 miles away. If I were there, I could cover so much ground and go to all the houses in the Village. It may well be that she is not there, or that someone else has taken her in, and not seen the posters. I just don't know what to do, besides be devastated and try to get her home again. I'm heartbroken-I was making preparations to have her shipped home to me here when she ran off.

I am trying to keep my spirits up, and keep searching for her every day. I don't know what else to do. If you have any suggestions, please notify me by comment or email. I will post often with my efforts. Please help me find my Emily!
